Tocón: La Zarzadilla - Camino Tablillos
Sunday 9th of November 2025 11:00 AMThis circular route starts near the Casa Forestal de los Madroños in Tocón. The route is 10.32 km long, has an elevation of 267 m and takes about 4 hours to complete.
LONG DESCRIPTION
The route starts near the Casa Forestal de las Mesetas. We walk through La Zarzadilla and up round the Cerro Portalón to the highest point of the walk at 1420 m. There is then a downhill section round the Cerro Madroño before walking back down to the starting point.
Note: There is no mobile phone coverage at the starting point. Coming from Granada it is 2km after the turn off to Tocon. If you come from La Peza it is 6km after Fuente de la Gitana.
